60for60 Photography Project

August 20th 2016 saw the start of my ‘final fifties’ so as I head towards the ‘big one’ I started to think about setting myself a challenge ……. trouble is I’m too much of a scaredy cat to jump out of a plane, and although I can walk for miles & miles running just isn’t my thing so a marathon, half marathon or a jog to the shops is out of the question!!!!

After much deliberation I settled for something fun……. a photography project called ’60 for 60′.

I’ve got some awesome trips planned for this year and I’ll be selecting 60 images to make a personal book ready for my 60th birthday in August 2017.  No doubt the images will swap and change as the year progresses but the final book will be a personal keepsake of what I hope to be a memorable year …..

September 2016

A visit to Gigrin Farm, in mid Wales,  to see the amazing Red Kites

A little jaunt up to the midlands to photograph kingfishers

Alaska – what an absolutely stunning place

Bald eagles, red fox and the most amazing scenery

…..and a little further afield to Richmond Park on a cold and frosty morning.

A lovely day at my favourite local hide to watch the woodland birds
